Loose connections in car mounts
I liked the idea of a vent mount that doesn't prevent my phone from blocking airflow through the vent, but in practice the ball joints of this solution weren't stiff enough to support my large phone in position on the street. A slight vibration while driving caused the lever and magnetic head to lose their position, causing the phone to sag under their weight. If you have a large phone or a heavier hard case, this might not give you enough durability.
