This little thing can make your weak headphones with a mediocre sound (moderately mediocre of course) play completely differently, cleaner, more transparent and more pleasant (not to mention the fact that you can adjust the sound as you wish through a proprietary application from Creative ) and the same thing happens with average microphones, the quality of the recorded voice becomes clearer and more transparent a million times. I myself have Razer Kraken headphones of the year, so probably 2022 and I bought them then for 6-7 thousand, I’ll say this, I thought the headphones were utter G ., I always connected them to the motherboard and to different phones, the sound was always like from a barrel, the bass was unmeasured a lot, and what a bass, hollowing and not at all soft, and when I connected the headphones to a PC and wanted to record a voice, well, it was just a tin, a full, quiet and booming voice, from which I wanted to b . wat, in short, horror and for so many years I just resigned myself to the fact that the headphones are complete garbage and sooner or later I’ll just throw them away, since it was not even possible to listen to music in them, and my head started to hurt from the bass . But a couple of days ago, before buying other headphones, I decided to I started to buy a good sound card and oh GODS, the headphones, along with the microphone, seemed to come to life, without even much building them up in ready-made presets or in the equalizer, by simply turning on the Direct mode, the sound became much cleaner and more transparent, the bass became less, well, or it became just less booming and dol beating on the brain, and the sound recorded through the same headphones and their microphone, which has a red price of 300, began to record the voice much, much better through this baby! In general, I am very pleased with the purchase! This is my first audio card, and I still don’t have such powerful and expensive headphones for this beauty, but even under such circumstances, I am completely satisfied with the purchase, 100% !
