First of all this was ordered in a hurry and it is entirely my fault for not realizing this is not a beanbag but a memory chair which is clearly stated. However, if you're buying it for a toddler, it might not be a good idea. My son is 3 years old and weighs about 26 kilos. The foam is too hard/stiff and doesn't collapse like a traditional beanbag. As a result, the weight of small children will not crush and prevent him from sitting, but bounce off it, or worse, roll over and fall. Imagine a small toddler trying to sit on it. training ball or equivalent. It just doesn't work for the little ones and I'm 6ft 2in and weigh over 200lbs and to be honest it doesn't stack under me that well either. This is the nature of dense foam, it's just uncomfortable to sit on. Once it stretches it will be too big to return as shipping will cost the item.
