I ordered a large/extra large size. When I put the robe on it was a bit big, especially around the waist and shoulders. The arm's length was to the middle of the palm of the hand and the full length was 4 or 5 inches below the knees (approximately as in the male model photo). ). The length fits me down to the waist. The color I ordered was Charcoal but it's a little lighter, more of a slate grey. It looks a bit darker in the photo. I prefer the slate tone. The material is not plush but thick enough to be comfortable. This is a small cotton magnifying glass, not unlike many towels. Most of the robe is double stitched and well stitched. A little rough to the touch, but comfortable. This robe would not be a good choice for a silk/satin man. It is ideal for everyday use around the house. It's also a nice beach/pool robe for quick drying. I washed the bathrobe after trying it on. I used warm water and a medium heat dryer. After washing it, I tried it on again. I was a little surprised that it shrunk by about 2 inches overall. So far it fits quite well. The sleeves tapered to the wrist and the length was about 2 inches below the knees. Also the shoulders fit perfectly and the waist is less big but still overlaps by about 12 inches. Overall, he still feels good. I wear it lying down and don't feel constricted when I turn around.
