May warp when drying

This hat fit my 5 year old well, but I'm taking off a star for two things: 1) I wish the brim was about 1/2 inch wider 2) The brim was warped after washing. I'm assuming the field thread is cotton. on the warp and it shrunk so the brim was a little wavy. So if you are washing this hat, I would recommend letting it air dry. You accidentally put it in the dryer. Once dry, the fields don't stay as flat as other panama hats he's owned.

Pros

Very light weight. Excellent quality. How detailed.

Cons

I have only washed/dried it once and it has shrunk so much that it no longer fits.
