Bought this as a Christmas present for my 13 year old daughter who can draw for hours. It took me and my mom about 3 hours to assemble the table. As other reviewers have pointed out, the instructions are short and full of illustrations. All parts, screws and bolts are numbered so if you follow the instructions carefully you should have no problem assembling the item and I am by no means proficient with my hands. We got together without much difficulty. We had no damaged or missing parts. Some people have complained that that the holes in the brackets do not line up with the pre-drilled holes. We thought they faced the same problem so they made extra holes due to which the table top didn't fit properly. Luckily my wife found our mistake and corrected it and we continued working without any problems. We misread the instructions for this step. Therefore, if you think that the holes do not match, I advise you to read the instructions more carefully before making unnecessary holes. I also see some complaints about cloth boxes. We found them to be sturdy enough to hold notepads and art supplies with ease. The end result is a sturdy, good looking drafting table with plenty of storage space and a good stool.
