Works great with 3/8" or 1/2" sockets. The included adapter (1/2" to 3/8") saves you money if you only have 3/8" drive bays. Both sides are 1/2" and you can place the adapter on either side. The detachable Adapter is nice so you can use your sockets on the correct side and see the torque value as the bar and scale are only visible from one side.I would recommend deeper/longer sockets if using it for tire lug testing.You may be asking Realize that the sidewall of the tires is interfering with proper use of the bar/grip With my lower shock heads and my SUV with 265/75/16 tires the clearance is already pretty tight.
