I have a DC24 Multifloor that I bought in 2012. The lower hose was making a genie so I ordered a new one from here and checked the part number with the Dyson website and everything seemed fine. When I removed the old hose it had the part number C1 stamped on it. What I ordered was CG2. It's a lot longer than my original part and slightly narrower (slightly). It seems that in an effort to streamline things or just not stock tons of spares, Dyson has a few 'universal' spares. It took a lot of muscle, patience, and a small, flat object to squeeze it in there. But here it is and I pray it lasts 6 years like the old one because it wasn't interesting.
