Review on Zurn 1 600XL Wilkins Pressure Reducing by Shane Sanchez

I bought this PRV for my new home. Worked great for 6 months and then stopped working. I noticed water leaking from the water heater safety valve. Then I noticed the pressure slowly increasing from 60psi to 150psi which was alarming. The water heater was off so it wasn't thermal expansion. Customer service honored their warranty and provided a repair kit overnight that fixed the problem (pretty easy to fix). When companies endorse their products, it makes a big difference. That they failed so early is alarming. My guess is that it may have been damaged by dirt in the line (although there is a strainer on this unit). The time will show.
