When shaking cocktails in metal plated shakers, the rim around the smaller can rubbed off in the larger can, causing metal filings to get into our drinks. After Kate at Mixology & Craft reported the problem to customer service she sent me a brand new set free of charge assuming it was a non metal banger shaker set so just plain cans but she let me keep the metal set I already had would have . That was great because I really like the metallic look. Kate was great, the product is solid, the only problem was the metal coating in the shakers was worn off. However, this does not happen with an uncoated shaker.
