We make repairs in the house, put a false ceiling in the basement. The tricky part is that you have to get the grid level through four walls; Using just a manual level takes forever and can easily get messed up over time, so I figured I needed a laser level. It comes in a nice hard case, two batteries and a charger. The charger is connected directly to the batteries and after a few hours you are ready to go. I chose to use the included magnetic base to hold it, although it can also be screwed to a wall/ceiling or used on a tripod. The lasers are bright and carry well through the room. The remote control is great for turning on and off when you don't need it. It's a laser, so you probably don't want to have it on all the time, and I'd make sure you get some good goggles. Note that I only used horizontal lasers, but there are options for many more different levels/heights! I am very happy with my purchase, I will use it for ceramic tile wall covering!
