This mouse has replaced another ergonomic mouse I've had for years that has finally "expired". I first switched to a thumb-oriented trackball because I've also used it for many years and have had good luck with it, but the model I bought had horizontal scrolling issues even after I cleaned it and it left my hand for the mouse. hurts at EOD. I had another Anker ergo mouse of similar design that I use for my work and this mouse is very similar to the Anker. Nothing that would affect my working mouse, but this Tecknet mouse is slightly better overall. And that's fine, because I'm using it with a machine that's primarily used for sounding out music, and I want the comfort and precision that a Tecknet mouse offers. My daughter uses a gaming mouse for her day to day needs and if those mice finally fail I might go for one of these but I'm happy with Tecknet. It also seems to be pretty good with battery usage. BTW, Bluetooth mice can be a problem - I prefer battery powered WiFi.
