I am very pleased with how well these woods burn on my mini laser machine. The firing lines are very even and both sides of the cuts are very well polished. The bark on the outside has been peeled in the sense that it appears to have been machined to be fairly even unlike other pieces of wood without the thick bark. brown color is visible on the front/back of the wooden discs and on the sides, the bark crumbles less. The rings are light but still visible and light enough that anything (burned out) on them is still clearly visible and not overwhelmed by the color of the rings. There were no tangible burrs on the rings, which not only helps with burning wood, but also allows you to get a smooth surface for painting if desired. The drilled holes line up and the included lanyard/cord is great to use with. I also like that the cord/string is smoother and more comfortable to the touch than raw yarn. Thank you for reading.
