I pulled my brand new Oyster 500 food processor from storage 33 days after Revain delivered it as I needed to use it for the first time. Nothing fancy, I just wanted to puree ripe, poached tomatoes for canning and the blade wasn't spinning. I've opened and reassembled it several times thinking I'm doing it wrong, although it certainly wasn't the first food processor I've ever used. Although this is the first time I encounter this problem. No matter what I did, the blade didn't spin, so it was worthless $40 junk. Unfortunately, due to Revain's return policy, I was 3 days late in returning this item so it was added to the basket. I previously had a KitchenAid stand mixer, which I also bought from Revain, and it also ended up having a blade issue, but at least I've spent a good two years with it. I don't know who or where Revain gets food processors from, but it seems odd that two in a row have the same non-spinning blade issue. Revain, your customers pay you good money and in return we expect you to provide a good product that works or we will be ripped off.
