This was a great purchase. Easy to install but the instructions say to connect it to a battery which I didn't. If you want it like a key, turn on the switch, that's what you do. Buy a faucet fuse and the faucet in your outlet should have a 10 or 15 amp fuse and another fuse can make 15-25 amps. I used 25 because I got a free one from Autozone. A safety tap costs $7 at any auto dealership. The downside to this is that the cables attach directly to the box preventing it from being installed in the car and I had to mount it under the hood and Barley had enough cables to accommodate it. But in the end I got everything set up and working and it looks good and the price is great. You can control the brightness, tempo, mode, tint and auto mode by remote control.
