Update: I needed to update my review. It tore at the seam, under the armpit. It's definitely not for rough kids. My son doesn't like winter coats, but he hates the longer, thicker ones. This coat is perfect for him. It's not bulky, but not too light either. It has a soft, plush-like lining. It hits just below his waist and the sleeves are the perfect length (they're a bit big for him as he's skinny). My son is a size 8/10 and I ordered a 10/12.
