Review: I like this comb much more than a flat iron! While my flat iron only "straightened" the top and bottom of my hair, this straightening brush allows you to heat comb through your hair, straightening it much more effectively. Compared to other flat irons or hair straighteners the price is AMAZING as most flat irons I own or look up online cost 2 or 3 times more than this one. It is easy to use and, like any iron, has multiple heat settings. My only downside is that I wish it had a big shape like a paddle brush so I can comb through more hair at a time because I have very thick coarse hair so I can only do small strands with it at a time. How I use it: I have very thick, coarse, curly, color treated hair so it's difficult to find products to straighten my hair, but it helps! I always start by applying some kind of heat protectant spray to my hair and brushing it out. Then I select the cooking level and let it heat up (it takes about a minute on the highest level). There are different settings that you should use depending on your hair type. The instructions say to set it on a lower heat setting for colored hair, but doing that doesn't straighten my hair so I always set it on the highest heat setting. Although I always use the highest settings, I haven't noticed any damage to my colors. After it heats up, slowly run it through your hair and voila, within minutes of brushing your hair is straight! When I'm done straightening, I comb my straightened hair and apply a little oil to it to get rid of frizz and give it a nice shine.
