Because I couldn't afford to cut the boards to size after spending so much time cutting to size after using a razor and even scissors for Cutting the edges had used the tape, and then that, scissors and razor unconditionally triumphed. If a tool doesn't work easily for me initially and causes additional wood repair work after using it, it's useless to me. I think this will work better for those who have used this crop tool in the past. The price is good for what it is though.
