it won't hurt that much. I have to use this with magnet.
Simple and inexpensive, the insides are clean and free of burrs, smooth action. For a cheaper indicator that a brand is on the windowsill, you can't go wrong. If you drop it, it won't hurt that much. I used this for use with the HFS(TM) magnetic backing. Magnetic indicator base Rear holder for AGD2 1 inch dial indicator so I wanted a cheap one as I would most likely damage these.
