I used these to turn a coffee table into a rat cage, they hold the wire mesh on the sides as a cage wall. They screw themselves into the tree and hold on. They were also easy to attach to the mesh, I didn't have rivets so I used a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer, it worked quickly and easily.
