Works no differently than the included silver cups. Just for looks
I have used and installed this brand on many Xbox and PS4 controllers but my personal Xbox X Shock Blue had to pay extra money for the blue cups. No difference to the silver ones that came with it to be honest, but I had to get the blue cups to bring out the true blue of the shock blue. I love it, that's all I care about
