Have a security system, recorder in the second floor office, connect the transmitter to the recorder and receiver down the stairs, then take it to the shop, 115 inches, in a metal building, it also works good so im going to buy a second receiver now let me explain i didn't buy the cheaper 150' set i bought the 660' which means it has a stronger signal no sound but the picture are great. So go through 4 walls, 1 floor, 50 feet to point inside a house, 1 wall, then a steel building 115 feet away, then 35 feet inside the building. 1 saying they were used and it was a church with 2 receivers. But as one of the other reviewers wrote, an area with lots of frequency problem areas, I have a lot to do with how well this works for you just out of town on 1 hectare so know your area, don't always blame the product, ask any questions, the technical department will be there to help you.
