A few weeks ago I started using my Stone Maze (Black and White Print) Kavu Keeper. I noticed there was a smudge on it, so I took a clean white cloth dampened with cold water and rubbed it lightly. The color has started to fade! I have many Kavu Guardians and have even washed some of them in lukewarm water with mild soap, rinsed and then rinsed and line dried outside. They all turned out well. So I was surprised that the paint rubbed and smeared on this one. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the print is applied to the surface of the fabric, but there is no dye in the fabric. Very disappointed. The Kavu Keeper is a great bag in its own right. It's big enough for a mini iPad, wallet, keys, and phone, with room for a few other small items. Of course, without a mini iPad, there's plenty of room. This is a great everyday bag. However, if the fabric print is no longer durable and strong, this will hinder future purchases for me.
