I bought this unit to digitally archive some old VHS tapes and found it cheaper than sending the tapes to Costco or one of the other services. Unfortunately, the color quality was poor for most of the videos I tried to digitize. I tested the VCR by playing the video on a TV and the color came out fine so the VCR wasn't the problem. I've been going back and forth with their tech support for weeks. They were very helpful and even sent me two other devices to try out my particular setup. But after trying all the alternative devices on several different computers, I got the same problem on all of them. I finally stopped receiving messages from tech support. It's too late to return now.
