RUNNING THE TESTS Internal

Medium latency, decent speed, overall a decent set of RAM if you're looking for an RGB that works with your motherboard's own lighting ecosystem rather than booting into a proprietary one. Upgraded me from 16GB to 32GB as expected, although I bought four as the DDR4 I had on my system was discontinued - replaced them for consistency. The Crucial name in RAM is solid enough, and that's the main reason I chose these guys over their G.Skill Trident Z counterparts. Overall, there's nothing special about this RAM, so I'll leave the advice: run memory tests IMMEDIATELY . Any hardware change, or even just a new build, can go from being a quick upgrade to a nightmare if you don't get the hardware up and running before the replacement deadline. Especially if you did the same thing as me and opted for a complete set of four sticks. Each of them could have a single factory defect that can take months to discover - your data is being corrupted right under your nose without your knowledge. I work as a computer engineer, I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone who hasn't done this and later has a headache from dealing with a manufacturer's warranty rather than providing a replacement which would otherwise have the maximum wait a day or two. Sometimes bad RAM is obvious. Others are not. Do yourself a favor and make sure the hardware you install on your system is up to the task.
