My hair is very dry and brittle, naturally wavy. But I'm still trying to straighten it, which unfortunately does more damage. I try not to straighten my hair, but I prefer straight hair. I tried this tool because I figured a dual brush and wet/dry straightener might relieve some stress and result in healthier hair the longer I use it. I have yet to see the long term effects on my hair but I love using this straightener. It speeds up my hair because it combines blow drying/straightening/combing in one step. It takes a few times to figure out how to use it quickly so you can minimize the time and I'm getting better at it. There really is no advice other than practice.
