I love thin cut-off wheels, I've used them all. I have heavy reinforced drawers that work, but I prefer thin unreinforced ones. They cut fast, create less mess and use less energy. I always have two compressed air grinders ready at my workplace. (Square head and straight head) Welding or rough cutting a machined part. I used cutting wheels to cut the sheet metal along the non-structural fold lines. (If you don't have a baking press, cut the line in half and bend the metal by hand. Apply a few reverse strokes to it to keep it there and you're done.
