Finding replacement Revain coils for my 2004 BMW 330Ci was harder than I expected. I had misfires on moderate acceleration, especially in high gears around 2800-3000 rpm, worse in rainy weather. I suspected the coils were to blame and when I took them out I saw traces of sparks coming from the center of the metal case of two coils which confirmed my suspicion. So I started looking for a new set. I first ordered a kit from another seller saying "Bosch 0221504470" that was supposed to fit my car (I even sent the seller my VIN and they guaranteed it would fit), but they saw different. than the originals. I bravely ordered and installed them anyway, and after installation, not a single cylinder caught fire --- the car didn't start at all. (Also, the seller didn't want to refund the money but eventually did.) So I kept looking and found these that looked exactly like my original coils but had no reviews at the time (mine were their first). ). So I crossed my fingers and ordered them. After replacement, the car started immediately. It works well and no longer has the random bugs it used to have. All in all they appear (on my machine at least) to be exact replacements of the originals down to the last detail and the machine runs much stronger now. I suspect if you have an E46 and your coils LOOK like this they will work great for you too. Ask the seller if they can check the fit, or at least check their return policy if you're unsure, but I've had no issues and am very satisfied - especially for the price.
