Review on πŸ‘œ RA Bock Medium Black Leather Doctor Bag: Sleek and Sophisticated by Kim Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not perfect but high quality

This quality of leather, hardware and construction is rarely found under $300 so this doctor's bag comes at a great price. Cons: I prefer not to have the external back pocket, which you can hardly see from top to bottom in the photo. The description doesn't mention it. This bag closes with a velcro flap, and I don't like velcro. Velcro should not be a feature of high quality leather goods. Also, the polyester lining, complete with pen holders and interior zip pocket, is loose and baggy and certainly won't last as long as a leather case itself. I would have preferred to see the suede side of the leather and not have an interior. If this leather case holds up well, I might remove the lining. Pros: Made with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Quality fittings, excellent closure and comfortable grip. Nice metal feet that help keep bacteria off the floor when you put it down. It's undoubtedly a traditional doctor's bag and the medium size is enough for a day bag. My 10.5" Macbook Air has enough room to stand upside down. I'm not a doctor, but now I look like a doctor.
