Perfect fit for my first Zoom DSLR

I bought this after becoming interested in photography. I used my friend's Rebel SL2 with a kit lens and realized how much I love photography. I decided on a camera and settled on the 77d with a Canon 50mm 1.8. I chose the 77d because it's an improvement over the Rebel series in terms of build quality and all the features I wanted in a camera. This camera feels a lot better in hand than its Rebel. The grip is deep and strong, allowing me to hold the camera securely in my right hand. All the buttons and dials feel solid and well made compared to the Rebel. I really like how it feels in my hands. It's hard to describe how durable and comfortable it is. The LCD display on the top is very handy to check your settings. This allows me to use the automatic exposure system and find out which settings are suitable for different situations. Now I can have full manual control without over- or under-exposing my shots because I could look down before each shot and see what aperture, shutter speed and ISO the camera chose for me, and in the end I understood how Exposure triangle works every situation. Now that I use the camera in manual mode more often, I always know what setting I've selected without having to resort to the touchscreen. It's much easier to use the dials to quickly change settings than it is to navigate through the touchscreen menus and change them that way. I looked at the t7i but it didn't have a top LCD screen. I wasn't sure if it was really necessary, but now I couldn't live without it. All menus are very intuitive and well thought out. The more I learn about photography, the easier it is for me to navigate menus, change settings, and use all of the camera's features. (of which there are many) Build quality is excellent. After months of carrying it with me wherever I went, it showed no signs of wear. Everything feels solid and solid, and all moving parts feel durable. It feels like a much more expensive camera than it is. The Rebel I started with feels almost cheap and light compared to the 77d. The deep grip is critical in the world. The image quality is excellent for a camera in this price range. In combination with a good lens, I can produce very sharp and detailed images. As with any Aps-C camera with that many megapixels, noise can become very noticeable at high ISOs, but anything below 3200 is easily removed in post-processing. I often shoot images at 6400 that are fully usable with no apparent noise until you zoom in 1:1. On social networks like Facebook and Instagram, nobody will notice the noise in your pictures. It's only noticeable at very close magnifications, and even then it's very easy to clean up in post-processing. The autofocus is very accurate through the viewfinder, which is how I normally take pictures. I've used a single point as well as many other focusing options and they all work great in most situations. When using the Live View screen, the autofocus is out of this world. It quickly and smoothly focuses on any spot you touch. To be honest I can't believe how good the live autofocus is. I find myself using Live View in more and more situations just because it's so accurate and easy. Especially in low light conditions, when almost nothing can be seen in the viewfinder. Overall I'm very happy with my decision to use the 77d as my first serious camera. It was the perfect tool in my quest to learn as much as possible about photography. No matter what new path I take in photography, this camera always has the features and functions I need to explore each new direction. Astrophotography, landscapes, portraits, macro photography, architecture, light painting, long exposure, time lapse photography, video, panorama and the list is endless. This camera was able to satisfy my ever-changing curiosity as I grew as a photographer. I cannot recommend this camera enough.
