This is a good lightweight stand for hanging a photo backdrop, festive decorations or a green screen. The thin aluminum tubes make this kit very light and portable, and the double tripod design offers more stability compared to a single tripod (T-bar style). I really like that the width of this rack is adjustable (in 2.5 foot increments) as I don't always need or have room for the entire 10 foot wide stage this kit offers. The crossbar tubes arrived with an excess of paint inside which made it a bit tricky to put in the first time (later use was fine). Once the crossbar is bolted to the tripods, the kit seems solid enough. I wouldn't dare hang more than a few kilos of weight on it, but it's enough for light sheets and decorations. The small/thin legs and lack of holes for anchoring to the ground make this kit a bit sub-optimal for outdoor use. That's not a problem for me as my needs are mostly indoors, but it's a limitation to be aware of. Overall, I'm pleased with the easy portability and quick setup of this stand. A slightly stiffer crossbar and larger tripod legs might have been nice, but this kit gets the job done without a problem. highlighted.
