Actually I don't know if it's the filter or my fridge but water started leaking and the dispenser stopped working about a month after install so I replaced with the other filter. It still leaked. I started using a brita pitcher rather than buy more filters. They are too expensive to take a chance on. I have a Samsung and never had this problem before and I've ordered off-brand filters in the past with no issues.
