I wanted something nice to display my 5 year old artwork and something to hang pictures of her favorite things. Those flickering lights are everything. It was just what I needed, I like that the strand is thin and transparent which gives it a magically light feel. The needle sticks very well to the painting. The slight strand is bendable so you can style it into any shape you like. It will also look cute in a ceramic jar as a Christmas decoration. Extra credit for battery operation as I installed it in my office and we no longer have an outlet.
