This is a super cute suit! After 7 years, my old favorite swim suit was ready to be retired. For my new one, I wanted something with decent coverage of my belly and butt (and perhaps ease some of the slight "chub rub” going on). But as a young 40-something mom of two, I still wanted to look stylish when at the pool or beach with my kids. I love this top - loose enough to hide any extra cushion you might have going on, but tight enough that it doesn’t float up in the pool. My only issue with this suit is that I can’t comfortably wear the bottoms. I ordered a Large (12-14) because I’m a pretty consistent 14 in clothes. While the top fits just fine, apparently my bottom needs an XL to feel good about itself. I am able to put them on, but I would not want to walk around in them for very long - they just don’t cover the way I wanted. I love the top though, so I’m keeping it and ended up ordering some black swim shorts separately somewhere else. I’ve recently lost 10 lbs, so maybe in another 10 I’ll like the bottoms more. If you’re "pear shaped” just know the bottoms may not meet your expectations.
