I can't give this lysine more stars as I'm not sure if it works. I bought this bottle for one of my cats. She always has a runny nose and my vet told me that lysine would help her immune system and maybe her eyes. I gave her one capsule a day. I opened it up, sprinkled it on and mixed it into her food. I drank the whole bottle but saw no improvement. I think I can order another bottle and try it longer to see some results, but I probably won't as I haven't noticed a difference. Well, maybe it will work for someone else. On the other hand, after you empty the capsule and you only have the gelatin capsule, you can use it as a cat toy. After emptying the contents of the pod, I pick up the pod again and throw it up in the air, and then my cats chase it and play with it. Then they drool the whole thing and one of them usually ends up eating it.
