I bought a 5000 airlift for my 2012 Dodge Ram 3500. I wanted some stability when towing my RV. The installation was uncomplicated. I will say the brass air fitting is pressed in at the top. It is imperative that you follow the quick attach installation instructions, do not overtighten, and do not add teflon tape, at least initially. I followed the instructions and there was a slow leak in an airbag which turned out to be a brass press fitting. I called Airlift about 3 weeks after purchase and it was very easy and hassle free to get a replacement. Excellent customer service! With the RV loaded, I put in about 70 psi. This gives me extra stability when swaying and better braking control. This does not increase the towing capacity, but only improves traction.
