Run away! in warning and warning lights

The product says that the diode is 3 watts. Not even close. You can see the white side during the day, but the red side is completely invisible unless you are within 50 feet, in which case you can just about see. I tried all 4 and all 4 were the same, cheap Chinese junk. I bought these for my son as he is a firefighter. The NCHP told him to turn them off or be fined because no red lights were visible. I have bought many 1 watt red and amber bulbs with no problem but they are disappointing and not worth the return shipping. I'm hoping for a refund or better yet a light that actually works.
