I recently purchased several different bulb sets in this style to replace the standard halogen bulbs on my ATVs. It was the cheapest (about half the cost of the most expensive). All have very similar results. The only significant difference with this set is that they do not include a front mounted LED, only the sides. There is no difference at a distance, but little difference up close. One pair had a blue LED on the front, which looks neat but isn't essential for light output. If it's worth β¬15 to you, take it. If not, you can get them for about half the price. Can't speak to durability yet as I've only ridden a few hours but will update this review if they fail within a year. Here are some key points: Light output - they are brighter and "whiter" than OEM halogen bulbs. The field of view is slightly narrower, but noticeably deeper. All in all definitely an improvement. I didn't notice any flickering while driving, and only a little when coasting or idling (lower voltage). As for the declared properties, this is nonsense. The advertised lumen output isn't even close, but all of these cheap Chinese LEDs make up for their specs, listing things well beyond what's even possible with today's technology. But since they're all lies, and they're as good as anything else in this price range, I'd say that's not a problem. Length - They are longer than the typical halogen bulbs they replace. This has two implications. 1) They may not fit in some cases. Mine (Yamaha Kodiak) barely fit. I'm a millimeter from the front of the case. 2) This places the light emitters further forward in the body than halogen emitters, changing the pattern. In my application, this is particularly noticeable in the high beam. They're a bit bigger, but I don't want to adjust the body position because the low beam is great. I drive on my property, not public roads, so I don't care. There is no one to complain about. Polarity. As with every LED replacement bulb I've seen, the polarity is reversed in most cases. Your high/low beam switch will likely be reversed. I personally didn't care. If it really bothers you, you could perhaps file off a small tab and simply turn the lamp 180 degrees and install it. REPLACE BOTH - When I first tried LED headlights I almost thought they were defective because they had to be replaced in pairs. I wanted to compare them side by side so I substituted a lightbulb and the light became dim, flickered and had the same pattern at high and low frequencies. You can't have a regular incandescent bulb and an LED, at least not in my applications. Mixing different brands of LEDs seems to work well.
