Review on 🖨️ Wireless All-in-One Printer Canon MB2720: Office & Business Scanner, Copier, Fax with Mobile & Duplex Printing by Ynot Karlen

This is my third Canon printer, I think it's about three years old. It replaced an earlier Cannon MB2500 (maybe that's a misnomer I remember) in a printer. This printer has been flawless so far. I used up a full set of "XL" cartridges in about 12 weeks. I use 28g premium paper. Based on this profile, print quality is excellent. The color is very good. It's not the "best" option for photo printing, color reproduction is a bit distorted and washed out compared to high-end photo printers. I make very little, and what I make I just ship to Walgreens. Admittedly, I haven't tried any dedicated photo paper yet, so it might be worth a try. Nothing wrong with the scanner, very thin black lines have appeared on some scans in the last 6 months. For what I use it for, it's no problem. I find that the printer works acceptably with inferior paper. I've gone through a few in the past. But it has to be inkjet paper. Now a note in ink. I later switched to standard proprietary inks on my previous Canon printer. The quality varied quite a bit, but the cost savings were huge. I was happy to save money. That's how it was until the Bull's last purchase (a four-round-set deal). A month after purchasing these cartridges I started having problems. they were also quickly dismantled. The print quality deteriorated dramatically, sometimes I even started to get nervous. No deep cleaning helped. In fact, it made him worse. I was able to remove the cartridges and replace them with a set of Canon cartridges. However, the damage is done. Tried cleaning the heads. No improvement. This clearly damaged the injectors at a very basic level. I gave up and donated a goodwill printer. I've seen a number of complaints about print quality, clogged heads, etc. in the reviews. In my experience, if you're trying to save money, it comes at the expense of printer longevity. This can be even worse for the home user where the print volume may be much lower than in a commercial office. I measured the page volume of the cartridge in relation to the ream of paper used. In my experience with regular printing, web printing, etc., the cartridge life ranges from 1100 to 1500 pages. The difference is also partly due to duplex printing. However, on a continuous side of the same color, these numbers are completely erased. I know because sometimes it happened. Remember that you can enter and interrupt the print queue! Likewise. a solid black color page looks rather uneven in the color depth representation. Laser printers are much better in this regard. Finally connectivity. In my opinion, this is an easy printer to set up. Canon drivers are reliable and support the product well. I use this printer with Chromebooks, Windows 10 laptops, iPads and Macs. One of the Macs is running OS 11 (Big Sur). One final point: new drivers are available on Canon's website that support Mac OS 11, although it's not listed on Revain. They may not come with your printer and you will need to look for them. I don't know since I bought my printer a few years ago. I have used this USB printer in the past. I've used it with Ethernet and now with Wi-Fi. Works well with all three. In summary, I can say that this is a good all-round printer for medium to small volumes. It has good connectivity, reasonable paper tray capacity (maybe a bit small for a commercial office) and is reliable in my experience. However, scanners are prone to bit errors (black lines). My current and previous Canon all-in-ones have experienced this degradation. The life of my last printer was severely shortened by using 3rd party cartridges. Like all cartridges from printer manufacturers, although they have a reasonable lifespan, they are overpriced. You can recycle them with Office Max/Staples. Recommended for home offices everywhere! Large volume commercial use can encourage this investment - check the manufacturer's advertised duty cycle. Universal laser printers may be an alternative, but the entry price is usually significantly higher. In addition, these devices are usually equipped with small-volume starter cartridges, which are expensive to replace.
