Good: - The battery terminals get more power than the cigarette lighter version - It pumped up to PSI fairly quickly, as intended. The pump itself has never given me any problems. The Bad: - Somehow I missed the disclaimer that it only works to 1.4psi when I needed 3psi. I think it's my fault. After a year or two the tube started falling apart and seemed to melt in the sunlight when I left it in the trunk. I patched it up and lived another year or two before giving it up. With all the hassle of attaching the alligator clips and staying within the cord length of the motor while the machine is running, I'm not sure there's any more convenient than getting a good hand pump instead (which also gives you a free workout). After all, I used it to half inflate my kayaks for a few years and then fill them by hand. Pump (K-pump that works great). I ended up dropping the air cap and got a really good ($200) rechargeable pump built for stand up surfboards and I wish I could just get one to start with. I was going to give that 3 stars as I really didn't care. for that, but I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I was using it for an application that needed a different pump. If you're just trying to pump 1psi. pump) or a good PSI programmable rechargeable pump.
