I really think this tool is very useful and the concept is definitely great but as someone else mentioned in a previous review this tool uses what – a rubber washer . or a fixture that causes the moving part to move when tightened, so it takes a few tries to tighten each knob precisely and hold the gauge guides in place. Other than that, it's a great tool. I used it to drill holes in window frames to install windows which allowed me to install them all straight. All in all, it's very easy to use, portable, and can be very accurate if you manage to line up the straightedges while tightening.
