Perfect for preventing my 2 large breed dogs from jumping out when I open the sunroof. I only use the hold for pet supplies as we travel a lot and need their leashes, water and treats to hand during stops. It has made our travels with our pets much easier. We like opening the hatch for dogs at all gas stations, and now we can do that without fear of them jumping out. However, they are also trained to behave. Cannot stop a naughty dog from escaping the ship.
