Review on 📼 Panasonic DMR-ES45VS DVD Recorder / VCR Combo: HDMI, SD Card, and DV Input – All-in-One Video Recording Device by Marc Alvarez

I bought this product a year ago and am very happy with its performance. I haven't had the slightest problem with the machine for over a year and use it to record every day. I usually record on DVD, but sometimes I use VHS, especially when I'm not at home. This gives me 12 hours of recording when using both. I burn weekly programs to DVD-RAM to watch for a week and then delete the title. It's a simple process that I love. Setting up a recording schedule is quick. You also have the option to edit the schedule or pause a scheduled recording so you don't have to delete the scheduled program and start over. For me this is a really nice feature. I have transferred all the movies recorded on VHS etc to DVD-R discs and this is also a simple process. I like the 1-touch recording option or setting recording for a specific time period. The only problem I found is that you can't watch TV separately when copying from VHS to DVD or vice versa (at least I didn't find it, but I didn't try to disconnect when copying either - I'll experiment soon). Yes, and the instructions are a little tricky to navigate, but once you figure it out, it gets easier. The instructions are easy to understand and well illustrated. Although I'm not a "techie" I can read and operate the machine competently and am very happy with my purchase. I recommend this product to both experienced and novice users.
