Winter Skin Cracking Remedy

I was very fortunate to find reviews from previous buyers and learn more about this product. In winter I get painful cracks in the skin at the corners of my thumb and forefinger. Until a few years ago, 3M produced a NexCare product in a metal tube for treating cracked skin that contained cyanoacrylate. 3M discontinued the tube product and began selling the product in a glass bottle with a brush applicator. This product is decent (at best), but washes out. The previous product was excellent. Only the surgical adhesive used by doctors and hospitals is just as good. It's only available to doctors and costs around $50 for a small tube. Desperately looking for a better product, I searched the internet for 3M Vetbond. This is a similar surgical adhesive but intended for veterinary use. Because it is made by 3M, many believe it to be the same product as the old 3M Nexcare product and possibly the same as 3M surgical adhesive used in hospitals. I don't claim to know. Although intended for veterinary use, I have used it to treat cracked skin. You will be treated well. The product does not burn or sting when applied. WARNING: This is cyanoacrylate, similar to super glue. Be careful when using it. Do not touch the application site, otherwise your skin will stick to it. Carefully read the instructions for using the included applicators. Most people report putting a small amount of glue in the incision and pressing the sides together without making contact with the fingers used to press. Aside from the above caveat, the only issue I've had is a slightly increased desire to chase tennis. eggs.
