Although these chairs are much smaller than the photos, they are very pleasant to look at. We bought two. However, just a few months later, one of the frames collapsed completely and the passenger fell to the ground. They were moderately heavy and sat snugly (which we all urged when we sat in these chairs), yet it fell spectacularly with a click, the seat of the chair snapping in front of the legs. Disassembling the chair, I saw a flimsy frame that had been cracked beyond repair by mere mortals. The other chair lasted another two months but now we hardly use it anymore for obvious reasons. I really wanted to like these chairs but it seems that beauty is only on the surface. :(
