This thread repair kit is a complete waste of money.Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with automotive tools, I can safely say that this kit IS not compatible with any thread repair insert. The instructions are vague and confusing, and the tools provided are cheaply made and do not work as intended. The only positive is that it comes in a sturdy case for storage. Save your money and invest in a higher quality thread repair kit..
