The earrings themselves were very cute and looked amazing on both my 1 year old and 2 year old. However, the screw on the purple pair (I also bought the pink one) was only partially unscrewed, so the earring didn't sit flush with the ear and didn't really secure it, as there was only a turn or two to the end of the thread. I called Revane but they wouldn't allow the exchange for a pink pair. Overall my 1 year old was only able to wear them for a couple of weeks before he lost them. The money is completely down the drain. However my 2 year old with the pink pair has been wearing them non stop for 3 months and they are still as secure as ever. I also ordered a purple pair based on the review below which said they were a lot lighter than pictured. That's not true, the stone in the center is very dark purple and matches the photo.
