My 6.5 kg toy puddle began to reluctantly leave the house, went about its business in minus weather here in Wisconsin, only after 1-2 minutes were its feet so cold that it stopped closing go and just got up on two legs at the same time and switches them every few seconds. One of her paws may have been frozen as she was limping and didn't want us to touch her to check. Was looking for shoes and there were so many mixed reviews here it was hard to decide which ones might fit. I'm glad I chose her! The shoes fit perfectly, stay on her feet and she can't wait to go outside and have a snowball fight. Not to mention they look really cute and you can't even see them because they match my peach puddle color perfectly. She has never worn shoes (she is only 1 year old and last year she was too young to go outside in winter) and got used to them within minutes, we only had them one day but she doesn't mind more up (the first time it was a challenge even though they took two people). I don't know what durability is but they look nice and only cost $2.50 per boot so don't worry if one gets lost or damaged the other set will give me plenty of spares. One of them only fell once during a fast run, but that was the first time she wore them and I'm not sure the shoes were properly put on during the initial struggle. Shoes stayed on for the last 5 walks and damn she jumped in the snow and ran like crazy (she missed playing outside and was obviously building up all that energy) because her feet weren't cold for the first time in weeks. We (our dog, my wife and I) love shoes. Given the difference, if they were many times more expensive, we'd still buy them, no questions asked. Real saviors for the cold winters in the north.
