1. The first one I took out of the bag was squashed like it had been moved. The nylon ends did not line up when the clamp was released. The spring is not aligned to compress properly. 2. After inspecting all 8 clamps, I found that half of them had knife cuts in the rubber parts (handle and clamps). All had oil marks and scuffs as if they had been used before. From previous use, it looks like some of them have been corrupted.
