I find they can almost be used on a patio grill. The handles are thick and comfortable to grip, but the tools are too long for me to be comfortable. Too bad I didn't check the size before ordering it. Unfortunately, it was too late to return it because I had thrown away the packaging. I also ordered a kitchen fork to go with the set. All five pieces of cutlery are tightly crammed into my cutlery rack with little room for anything else. I intend to see if I can find someone who needs or needs good cooking supplies. I cook in small portions just for myself. If you have a large kitchen with a large stove and cook large pots, this cookware is for you.
